Bathurst Cardiology is a well established practice which has just relocated to a brand new purpose built Centre. The practice is looking for a long term Cardiologist to work alongside a supportive team offering a wide range of cardiac services. You will be moving into a very busy, contemporary practice in a great modern environment. Visiting rights to the local public and private hospital may be negotiated and there is also the potential to be involved with the interventional service at Orange, 55 km away.
We have the latest modern technology including Echocardiography with strain and 4D imaging, exercise and pharmacological Stress Echo, all ambulatory monitoring services and electronic device checking. We also provide a wide range of cardiopulmonary function testing including body plethysmography, VO2 testing and metabolic studies.
To be successful in applying for this position you must have an FRACP, registrable with Medicare as a specialist and have appropriate cardiology training. Income is tied to billing and consulting hours can be set by the successful applicant.
Desirable criteria include specialised training in Echocardiography.
Involvement in interventional cardiology may be able to be negotiated with the Local Health District.
