Position : Cardiac Sonographer
Full time position.
Mersey Heart is a rapidly growing cardiology practice in Devonport, Tasmania. We are committed to practising with integrity, high technical standards, and respect for patients, carers, and staff.
Devonport has direct mainland access by sea and air. It is a bustling town with a good range of retail and service facilities. The attractions of northwest and central Tasmania are close by. This growing region of about 45,000 people had had no local cardiac service for some years.
The Mersey Heart echo lab runs new GE S70N Ultra ultrasound and CASE stress systems. Reporting is on EchoPAC. Echo contrast and dobutamine stress are used when required. Dr Hasking is echo trained and is a member of the ASE, the Imaging Council of CSANZ, and the EACVI. Mersey Heart also provides ambulatory ECG and BP services.
We invite ASAR-accredited cardiac sonographer(s) to join us in providing a full-time trans-thoracic and stress echocardiogram service.
