Position: Clinical Nurse Specialist – Cardiology (1.0 FTE)

About the role
Right now, we are looking for an exceptional senior registered nurse to join our cardiology team in the medical outpatient’s department at the Whangarei Hospital.
The purpose of this position is to utilise specialist nursing knowledge and expertise to provide patient centred care, across the continuum of care, to optimise the patient’s journey, improve equitable health outcomes and ensure excellent quality of care is provided to patients and whānau requiring cardiology care.
This is on a permanent full-time basis working 40 hours per week.
Key requirements
- PDRP at designated senior nursing level or Expert PDRP
- Minimum of 7 years post graduate experience with at least 3 years nursing in relevant specialty area
- Relevant PG Diploma in specialty area
- Demonstrate strong commitment to patient safety, quality improvement and ensuring an excellent standard of care delivery
