Austin Health is world-renowned for its research and specialist work in cancer, liver transplantation, spinal cord injuries, neurology, endocrinology, mental health and rehabilitation.
Our Cardiology Department provides a comprehensive range of high quality diagnostic and interventional services. Almost 22,000 cardiac diagnostic tests were performed in 2014/2015 including the full range of echocardiographic procedures. State-of-the-art facilities in the cardiac catherisation laboratories enable the performance of coronary and structural heart interventions and diagnostic electrophysiology and ablation procedures. We have regular teaching sessions and employ a full time Echo educator.
An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced Echocardiographer to join our Cardiology Department.
Our Cardiology Department provides a high quality comprehensive range of diagnostic and interventional services – including Echocardiograms, Stress echoes, TOE’s & SHD.
To be successful in this role you must be a fully accredited Echocardiographer.
Key responsibilities will include: performing OP and IP echocardiograms, Stress echocardiograms and assisting during TOE procedures.
