Your New Company
Launceston General Hospital is a 300-bed public hospital that provides acute care facilities for residents of Launceston and Northern Tasmania. Due to a retirement, they are currently looking for an experienced Echocardiographer to join their dynamic Cardiology department.
Your new role
This role plays a key part in the Cardiology Department which provides transthoracic and transoesophageal echocardiography, stress echocardiography, cardiac catheterisation and angioplasty service plus permanent pacemaker implant and follow up clinics. This varied role would see you performing echocardiograms, assisting in the laboratory, reviewing and completing echocardiogram reports, liaising with other departments and providing a high level of supporting to patients.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Echocardiographer, either registered or with eligibility to register for the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Board. With a minimum of one year’s experience working in a similar role, you will have excellent attention to detail, a care focused approach and strong communication skills. You will be passionate about your work, and will be dedicated to continuing to advance your skills in a supportive team environment.
