Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
Applications are invited for an Electrophysiology Fellowship at Auckland City Hospital.  This is a 12 month program where you will learn in managing patients with complex cardiac arrhythmias and performing a wide range of invasive and non-invasive cardiac electrophysiologic and pacing procedures. This role is designed to provide specialist training in cardiac electrophysiology to the standards outlined in the guidelines of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand.

The program exposes the fellow to managing patients with complex cardiac arrhythmias, performing a wide range of invasive and non invasive cardiac electrophysiologic and pacing procedures. Fellows are encouraged to design and carry out research projects in cardiac electrophysiology throughout their training.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills

You will need to have:

  • Registration with NZ Medical Council with an Annual Practising Certificate
  • Experience and training in general adult cardiology
  • Completed RACP advanced training in general cardiology, or the equivalent position for specialist qualification
