Exercise-based cardiac rehabilitation is a critical element of the treatment of patients with coronary heart disease following heart attack and other cardiac events. Despite this, the proportion of patients engaging in a program of CR in “real world” practice is low. Researchers from the Australian Centre for Health Service Innovation (QUT) are inviting stakeholders with an interest in cardiac rehabilitation to take part in interviews to better understand the different models of care and strategies that are supporting people with coronary heart disease engage with and complete cardiac rehabilitation in Australia.

Calling for all types of health service providers (e.g. cardiologists, GPs, allied health practitioners, nurses), researchers, funders and policy makers with experience or interest in cardiac rehabilitation within Australia are invited to take part in a 30-60 minute interview via Zoom/Teams or telephone.
