Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

We have a fixed term clinical role for a Medical Officer to work in our Cardiology Department from August 2023 to July 2024.

Reporting to the Service Clinical Director, your main responsibility is to review and re-triange patients who have been waiting 6 months for an outpatient ECHO.

In this role, you will also:

  • Undertake rostered outpatient clinics
  • Provide cover for absent advanced trainee registrars to support care of patients and service delivery

We are looking for the following requirements:

  • This position would ideally suit someone who has completed a training in general adult cardiology.
  • You will be either registered or be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. Please note, you will be required to provide source verification of your qualifications for your registration application.
