The Cardiac Physiology department at Waikato Hospital is excited to offer a position for a qualified cardiac physiologist in our amazing team. Waikato Hospital is a tertiary referral cardiac centre and is centrally located in the Waikato region of New Zealand. It provides a range of elective and acute diagnostic and interventional procedures:

  • Coronary and PCI studies, alongside structural heart procedures.
  • Electrophysiology studies including 3D mapping.
  • Implantation of permanent pacemakers and ICD’s.
  • Non-invasive work: Holter, event and BP monitoring, ETT’s, full device clinic follow up including travelling clinics to the midland region.

All applicants must be registered with the Clinical Physiologists Registration Board (CPRB) and be eligible to work in New Zealand.

There is no echo component in this role.
