- Total remuneration package ranges between $413,301.50 up to $435.365.00 per annum (L25-L27) OR $348,809.00 up to $398,294.00 p.a. (L18-L24) (excluding superannuation)
About the role
- The Cardiologist will be responsible for the provision of high quality, cost efficient and effective care for patients with Cardiovascular Disease and to actively participate in education and research.
- The position is to provide a high-quality service within the Hospital and Health Service and to participate, if requested in the provision of services in clinical Service Networks in Queensland Health.
The Cardiac Service supports the overarching purpose of the Caboolture Hospital and provides evidence based, safe, optimal and efficient cardiac care guided by standards including Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand, Heart Foundation of Australia, and State-wide cardiac clinical pathways.
Cardiac medicine at Caboolture Hospital provides an array of preventative, screening, diagnostic, treatment, and rehabilitative services across general and specialised cardiac medical problems. The service will support inpatient and outpatient cardiac rehabilitation education, in addition to cardiac rehabilitation and lifestyle modification program referrals.
