Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
An opportunity exists for a suitably qualified General Cardiologist to join an established and progressive team based at the Waikato Hospital, Hamilton, New Zealand for a fixed term. The successful applicant will join a well-established and dynamic team of 17 Cardiologists and 5 cardiac surgeons. There are 4 cardiac catheterisation labs including a dedicated EP lab and another custom built hybrid lab with capability of fusion imaging.

Mōu | About you
We are looking to attract a general cardiologist to work in a busy service.Candidates should have completed advanced training in Cardiology (FRACP or equivalent) and be eligible for provisional vocational / vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.

Waikato Hospital is a tertiary referral and teaching cardiac centre providing a wide range of adult cardiac services including cardiac surgery, structural heart disease and complex coronary intervention for the Midland Region (860,000 people). The department supports 5 regional secondary care hospitals.
