Position: General cardiologist
This is an excellent opportunity for a non-interventional cardiologists to become part of a fantastic team in the private sector. Significant growth within the region has created a need to recruit a permanent cardiologist to join an established practice in the South East Suburbs and surrounds.
We have an instant patient base for you with waiting lists. There will be instant income and case load as soon as you join.
You will join a group of cardiologists in this busy and thriving practice. You will benefit from an established referral network and organized educational sessions to GPs giving you the perfect platform to network and build an immediate referral base. A dedicated marketing person will be available to build your practice and get you known in the area.

This practice has been established for many years and offers a broad range of cardiac care including clinical, diagnostic and interventional cardiology services. The specialised team of cardiac technologists provides the most comprehensive cardiology care in the region. The team uses state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to perform non-invasive testing procedures at 10 separate locations. The practice is committed to providing a timely and efficient service and offers patients same-day test results and management.
Opportunities are available for general cardiology, stress testing/stress echocardiography/Transoesophageal echocardiography, CT/angiography and, in house Holter monitoring and blood pressure monitoring is available. Access to meetings with other cardiologists is available to maintain CME and for peer review.
The South East and surrounds is located in the south of Melbourne only 20 minutes to Melbourne CBD via an extensive freeway network. There are public and private hospitals as well as many loyal general practitioners/specialists. There is access to a cardiac angiography suite with PCI and a hybrid theatre for structural work. On-site cardiac surgery and hospital residents make care after hours a breeze. Access to inpatients is available according to your preferences. A new private emergency department has opened and access to a receiving roster is available.
